The Fiver Challenge

A group of year 4 pupils have done Ferry Lane proud! They won the fiver challenge (as part of the National Fiver Challenge) – they were given five pounds and had to develop their own business idea. Pupils from Ferry Lane Primary School set up a business and won the Best Group award for their company Bunny Super Sweets – which sold sweets packaged as gifts.

The Fiver Programme gives pupils an opportunity to develop key employability skills and develop a better understanding of the connection between what they learn in school and how they can apply that learning in the world of work. This year, over 38,000 budding entrepreneurs aged 5-11 years took part across the UK
